First Presbyterian Church of Palo Alto will welcome Bill McKibben, renowned climate activist and author, to the pulpit at our annual Earth Day service on April 28 at 10:30 am. Be inspired to care for our Mother Earth through music, prayer, and prophetic preaching.
Following the service, McKibben will sign copies of his new book, Falter, which will be available for purchase. The church will host a climate fair showcasing local climate action groups. Refreshments will be served. This event is hosted by our Cool Planet Group.
Our Adult Study at 9:30am will focus on McKibben’s work and include a conversation about how community members can work together to address global warming.
