Description: This fundraiser walk by faith and community groups benefits Church World Service (CWS) one of the 9 refugee relief NGO's authorized by the U.S. to work with the U.N. Refugee agency. Over 70% of CWS’s budget is for refugee services with the remainder for global relief and development, emergency response, and advocacy. One quarter of the funds raised will go to the Ecumenical Hunger Project (EHP).

In 2016, 101 people from 17 Peninsula churches and community groups walked together raising $20,660, of which over $5,000 was sent to the Ecumenical Hunger Project. This year, our goal is 10 more Peninsula churches/groups, including synagogues and mosques, and 200 walkers. Join us!
