Description: Talk and slide show by Diane Rejman

In February 2006, Bay area peace activist Diane Rejman is traveling to Vietnam with Global Exchange. The focus of the tour deals with the impact of the US/Vietnam war on that country. The group is scheduled to meet with experts on the economy, politics, and society. This includes Quaker Service, veterans' organizations, and health services, including the Friendship Village.

Diane Rejman, a member of Veterans for Peace, Chapter 101 in San Jose, served in the US Army from 1977-80. She holds an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird University, has been published on Counterpunch, and is listed in Who's Who in America. Diane served with, and has friends who are veterans of the Vietnam War. She is concerned about the effect it had on American soldiers AND the Vietnamese population. She also sees too many similarities between what happened 40 years ago, and what is happening now in Iraq.

Diane can be reached at: yespeaceispossible@yahoo.com.
