Warren Binford "4 Days in Clint"

Description: W. Warren H. Binford is an internationally recognized children's rights scholar and advocate who holds a tenured position as Professor of Law and serves as the Director of the Clinical Law Program at Willamette University. Professor Binford was a principal witness of the inhumane conditions of children at the detention center in Clint, TX, and helped to bring this issue to the media.

Spark Church & Congregation Etz Chayim are hosting Professor Binford for a multifaith worship service with dinner and a Conversational Q&R Interview. Professor Binford will share from her experiences at the Clint and Ursula Detention Facilities, provide legal explanations and education, and make recommendations as to how we can #AmplifyTheChildren's voices and demand change.
We are expecting a capacity crowd for this event.
4:30 p.m. Multifaith Worship Service with guest speaker, Professor Warren Binford
5:45 p.m. Vegetarian Dinner
6:15 p.m. Conversational Q&R Interview
