Description: A grassroots group of concerned citizens have announced a daily multifaith vigil beginning Sunday, July 21, to peacefully protest the U.S. governments treatment of children and asylum seekers at our southern border. This daily vigil will continue through Friday, Aug. 9, Saturdays excluded. This 3-week period coincides with a period of mourning on the Jewish calendar, invoking sadness over multiple experiences of loss of home, displacement, discrimination and loss. All are welcome to attend.
This event is sponsored by MVPJ and Bend the Arc.
