When: Friday, April 26 2019 @ 07:15 pm - - 09:30pm
Event Type:
Contact: Eric Sabelman
Where: Palo Alto Friends Meetinghouse
957 Colorado Ave
Palo Alto, CA 94303
Description: Palo Alto Friends Meeting will host another in an occasional series of chamber music concerts on period instruments to benefit Friends Committee on Legislation of California <http://fclca.org>

Katherine Heater, harpsichord, and Anthony Martin, violin, will play sonatas and keyboard solos by Vivaldi, Scarlatti, Handel, Telemann and JS Bach.

Audiences at previous concerts have noted that the intimate space and acoustics of the Palo Alto Meetinghouse are ideal for such small ensembles.

Families with children are encouraged to come; sit close to see and hear a live performance of music from a pre-electronic age. The musicians will give an introduction to their instruments for children before the performance from 7:15 to 7:45.

The Palo Alto Friends Meetinghouse is at 957 Colorado Ave (south of Oregon expressway, between Louis and Greer) <http://www.pafm.org>.

Suggested adult donation is $30; age 16 and under $15.
