Description: We meet EVERY FRIDAY for small demonstrations sponsored by the Peninsula/Palo Alto Women's Intl. League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF). We stand for the goals of the 2018 revival of Rev. MLK Jr.'s 1968 Poor People's Campaign of 1968 against poverty, racism, militarism and ecological damage. We also stand against the inhumane immigrant detentions and family separations of the Trump administration. We stand for low-income housing, a living wage, and universal, single-payer health care. We are pro-peace and anti-nuke. We have signs to share on diverse issues, or you can bring your own sign to peacefully protest injustice. All are welcome. This IS what democracy looks like!
