Description: Led by CAIR (Council on Islamic-American Relations), the purpose of this workshop is to prepare individuals with the tools and practice to be able to respond to hate incidences due to religion, ethnicity, sexuality or any other factors. It is a two-hour training with a mix of information and hands-on practice, seeking to cut the bystander effect and de-escalate the situation in a non-confrontational way. Free. Donations will be accepted at the event.
